As many people know we love our downwinding here at ONE and are always working super hard to make this side of all our sports easier, faster, and more fun on both the SUP and Foil sides. This is why we are super stoked to release the downwind Egg foil boards that will change the way we downwind foil and make it just that much easier!!
The EGGS have been designed to make getting up in downwind conditions far easier as we understand this is one of the hardest sides for people who want to get into downwinding. Some of the main features you will notice straight away with these boards is they are narrower and the bottom shape is very different from most boards on the market.
The main purpose of the EGG’s is to help with the paddle into ocean bumps and with this new shape this has become dramatically easier and will allow many more people to experience the greatest joy in foiling! The EGG boards are for the intermediate to experienced foilers as they are narrower than most foil boards and although narrow they still remain very stable for their sizes.
The EGG’s also have one other area that they excel at and because they are narrower and do pop up so easy they also make very good downwind prone foil boards. This is only a small part of the market but is an extra area that many people are wanting to try and this board will give them that chance.
The Egg’s also make great wind wing boards for light winds due to how easy they pop off the water and also make very good boards for in the surf SUP foiling.
