Kingscliff to Nobbies foil downwind

Living on the Gold Coast in QLD Australia can be everything from super hectic to one of the most magical places on Earth. Once you learn how to escape the hectic side this can really open up an amazing new world and really show case the magic that lies underneath the craziness.

If you are looking for one such way to escape then check out the below video of Paul Jackson showing just how easy it is to get away from it all and have the entire ocean pretty much to yourself. The real play ground a place where no one can hassle you and you can escape all normal world problems and just enjoy what nature has given us for pure fun.

This foil downwind run on its day can be one of the best in the world and all right on our door step. While the surf line ups are packed to the rafters of dog eat dog surfers all trying to snake that one wave by themselves little do most of them even realise that just out side of the crazy line up that there are as many waves as you like with zero chance of ever being snaked and waves that can go on for what feels like forever.

Kingscliff to Nobbies which is the downwind run in the below video goes past some of Australia’s most famous surf breaks like D-bar, Snapper Rocks, Currumbin and Burleigh Heads all of which on this day would have been packed with surfers trying to score one or two waves all while anyone out downwind foiling like Jacko in this vid has surfed one wave for arounds 30km and probably doing a thousand curve turns along the way.

If you think this sounds like something you might enjoy then contact the ONE Ocean sports crew now and get onto the Endless wave like the rest of us.
